If you're looking for ways to stretch your grocery budget, cut back on meal planning and preparation, and save time consider this Meals in a Jar class!  This two-hour class will introduce you to freeze dried foods and how to use them for long term storage, "fast foods" on busy nights, neighbor/holiday gifts, meals for neighbors or the sick, snacks for the kids, backpacking and hiking meals and more.  We’ll be assembling several meals in jars (soups, sauces, side dishes, cookies) and participants can help put them together or just observe.  After assembling, the jars will be sealed and labeled.  The jars may be purchased at the end of class.  This class will help the busy mom/dad/grandma or anyone who is interested in saving time, money or just enjoying a fun night out with friends.
